The school's graduation is set for Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in Cardinal Stadium. In case of rain, the school plans to hold two events inside.

During an indoor graduation, the ceremony for students with last names beginning with A-K would be set for 4 p.m., and the ceremony for students with last names beginning with L-Z would be set for 7:15 p.m.

Greenwich’s own Hannah Storm is scheduled to serve as the commencement speaker. The Emmy Award-nominated, trailblazing female sports journalist is host of ESPN’s SportsCenter, “Face to Face With Hannah Storm.”

Following the announcement of the commencement speaker in May, Greenwich High School Senior Class President Joseph Peters said the class was looking forward to having Storm as their speaker.

“The class of 2016 is thrilled to have Ms. Hannah Storm as our graduation keynote speaker,” Peters said. “We were encouraged by Ms. Storm's diverse background and her pioneering role as a woman in sports journalism.”

Storm said she was honored to be chosen for the role.

“High school graduation is such an important moment for graduates and their families,” said Storm. “I am very honored to be a part of this special day in the Greenwich High School community.”
